What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that some websites or web services may choose to use to save and store certain browsing data.
Cookies are saved on the browser you use to navigate – and therefore refer to that particular browser, not necessarily to the person using it at that time – and they serve various purposes: for example, keeping you logged into Facebook even after you have closed the window or browser, saving your shopping cart when you are shopping online, and so on.

What cookies do we use?
Google Analytics cookies
We have set up Google Analytics to anonymize IP addresses. However, Google Analytics does not let us know the exact IP address of the person browsing the site, but in this way, the collected data is less precise from a geographical point of view. In practice, what happens is that by using this setting, Google Analytics removes the last part of your IP address before it is used, and your complete IP address is never saved on Google’s servers.
If you want to learn more, here is Google Analytics’ official documentation – in Italian https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/2905384?hl=it. If you do not want your traffic data to be tracked, you can use this browser extension (available for all major browsers) https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=it.
